Acharya Vijay Prakash appeals to devotees to save girl child

Jamshedpur, Jan 3: Under the aegis of Srividya Shakti Sarvaswam of Chennai and with the blessings of Shrimata Lalitambika Rajrajeshwari Tripursundari on the seventh day today of the nine-day Shri Amba Yagna Nav Kundatmak Sahastrachandi Mahayagna and Srimad Devi Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagna, narrator Acharya Vijay Prakash Maharaj today dwelt at length on episodes pertaining to Devi Gita�s advise to Himalaya, the appearance of Mother Parvati and the marriage ceremony of Lord Shiva and Parvati.

The Acharya stated that Bhagwati should be worshipped with purity and faith as depicted in the Vedantas. He said that whoever listened to the Bhagwath Katha his or her wishes were fulfilled.  �A person who thinks of Ma Bhagwati while sleeping, sitting or walking or at all other times, that person is detached from all worldly bindings. When the Devi took birth from the womb of a Mynah Himalaya bowed before Her in reverence and sought Her blessings to gain Brahma Vidya.�

While elucidating on the Shiv-Parvati wedding festival, Acharya Vijay Prakash Maharaj Ji appealed to the devotees to save and protect the girl child. Then he averred, �The Shiv-Parvati wedding festival is a blessing for all mankind. Those who listen to this Katha are blessed. Truth is embodied in Shiva and Shiva is the truth. The unavoidable truth that death is has been adopted by Lord Shiv and that is the reason that He loves ash. This is the Lord�s message to mankind. Just like the Shiv-Parvati marriage, the soul�s marriage should be with Divinity so that mortals may find shelter at Lord Shiva�s feet and attain Moksha.�

Floats on Shiv-Parvati wedding were presented during the Yagna which added to the devotional milieu.

31 hosts today performed Yagna. On Saturday, January 4, Maharaj Ji will give discourse on the Goddesses of nature.
