Birsanagar traders on warpath

Jamshedpur: Birsanagar shopkeepers union has threatened to go on chakka jam agitation against the poor condition of the Sunday Market in Birsanagar from 10 am tomorrow.

They have demanded that the water flowing in front of the shops in the market should be stopped immediately by the district administration.

The water flowing in front of the shops is the drainage of local households and has caused many mishaps in the past several days, alleged local shop owners.

The shop owners said the district administration should ensure that the market road is kept free of garbage and other impediments.
