Tata Motors Conducts Campus Placement Drive at Jamshedpur Govt School, Selects 15 Students

Jamshedpur: Tata Motors, in collaboration with E-Digital India, conducted a campus placement drive at the government-aided Adivasi Plus-Two High School in Sitaramdera on Thursday. The initiative resulted in the selection of 15 students for a professional technical education program, directly linking classroom learning to industry opportunities.

Mechatronics Diploma and Stipend

A group of 20 students who recently cleared their Class 12 board examinations participated in the recruitment process. Following a written test and personal interviews, 15 students qualified for the program.

The selected candidates will enroll in a three-year Mechatronics Diploma course entirely sponsored by Tata Motors. In addition to free technical training, the program features an “earn-while-you-learn” model, providing each student with a monthly stipend of ₹12,700. This financial support aims to foster independence while students acquire specialized industry skills.

Recognition for District Topper

Before the drive, the school honoured one of the students, Kriti Singh, for her achievement as the district topper in the Commerce stream. E-Digital India representatives felicitated Singh, her father, and Acting Principal Udit Narayan. To support her further education, E-Digital India announced free educational assistance for Singh in Artificial Intelligence and her undergraduate studies.

Connecting Industry and Education

The event featured participation from Tata Motors Senior HR Recruiter Sumit Datta, E-Digital India Director Ramakrishna Thakur, and Ma Tara Educational and Welfare Society Secretary Bunty Upadhyay. School management emphasized that such drives are vital for students from economically weaker backgrounds, providing them with a clear career path in the automotive and technical sectors.
