Bhojpuria Cricket League from 31 to 7 February

Jamshedpur: The second season of the Bhojpuri Cricket League will begin with the aim of giving a proper platform to the young cricketers of the city. The social organization Bhojpuri Navchetna Manch has taken initiative in this direction. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India campaign. 

The Bhojpuria Cricket League will start from 31 January. Three to four matches of eight-eight overs will be done per day. All matches will be played at the Cable Club Cricket Ground, near Tinplate Chowk. The organizers of the Bhojpuri Cricket League said that twenty teams have registered themselves so far without publicity. The final match of the tournament will be played on 7 February.

 Giving information about the meaning of the rules of the game, he said that all the remaining rules of the instant cricket format will apply except for the leg before wicket. Participating teams will land in their jerseys. T-shirts and black trousers are mandatory in case of not having a team jersey. A large number of teams will be gathered for this cricket league with a huge prize money.

As prize money, the winning team of the league will be given 51000 and the runner-up team with a trophy of Rs 25000. At the same time, the best player of the tournament will also be awarded the attractive prize. Organizers said a maximum of 32 teams would be able to participate. The entry fee of the teams is fixed at Rs 3000.

Organizers of the Bhojpuria Cricket League (BCL) at the Steel House in Sakchi gave the relevant information while addressing the press conference. Appu Tiwari, Jayaprakash Singh, Ankit Anand, Balbir Mandal, Ayush Singh, Roshan Kumar, Chanakya Shah, Ram Kallu Shukla, Sushil Pandey, etc. were present during the press conference.
