Jamshedpur, May 3: Bharat Scouts and Guides members of South Eastern Railway (SER), Tatanagar unit, distributed water among the passengers at Tatanagar railway station on Tuesday. On the occasion passengers were also made aware about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and about keeping the Railways clean.
Secretary SP Paul said that the passengers will be provided water all through the summer where children from scouts and guides will also provide support.
As the train arrives in the station, children run towards it and provide water to the passengers. The water is being provided to the passengers in two phases first in the morning from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and later from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The passengers are quite happy with the service and praising the children for it.
Every year the Scouts and Guides put up drinking water facilities at the Tatanagar railway station and provide water to the passengers. The facility is being provided in all the platforms of the railway station.
