Jamshedpur, Aug 16: Sheyn International School celebrated the 73rd Independence Day on Thursday. Everyone was energized, ebullient and motivated to make this occasion special, memorable and a befitting tribute to our freedom fighters.
The decoration of the flag hoisting area was fascinating and impacted in channelizing the essence of Independence. The tricolor was hoisted by Satadru Roy, Principal and Pushpa Bhalla Vice Principal of the School followed by a beautiful Bharat Natyam Dance presentation by the faculty members. The Principal in his address to the gathering reminded every one of the great sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. Vice Principal of the school gave an inspiring speech on how we attained our freedom. Everyone was throbbing with energy when the teachers sang Vande Matram and Maa Tujhe Salam. Group song presentation by the teachers made the event colourful and a memorable one. The celebration concluded with the exchange of pleasantries.
