Jamshedpur, April 23: Jharkhand Tailik Sahu Sabha celebrate the birth anniversary of Bhama Shah, a 16th century general, minister and a close aide of the then Mewar ruler Maharana Pratap, on Sunday, April 23 at Sakchi Chowk.
Seeing the scorching heat, sherbet and fruits were distributed among the commuters near the Sakchi roundabout. The programme which started at 11 am continued till 4 pm. Earlier the members of the Sabha paid floral tributes to the portarit of Bhama Shah.
On the occasion people from the Tailik Sahu society pledged to lie down their life for the country. Anchoring the programme, Rakesh Sahu said, Bhama Shah served not only the Sahu society but all other societies. Bhama Shah had done many constructive work for the society.
The speakers at the event shed light on the life of Bhama Shah and informed the gathering to help your child attain higher education.
Madan Prasad and Dwarika Prasad said, Bhama Shah had given away his property to help protect the country. We should also learn to donate and not just money we should donate our services.
To make the programme successful, State general secretary of Tailik Sahu Sabha Madan Prasad, Jamshedpur incharge Dwarika Prasad, Balram Prasad Sahu, Ravindra Nath Sahu, Bhola Sahu, Rakesh Sahu, Gouri Shankar Sahu, Rajkumar Shah, Mohan Sahu, Kishore Prasad Sahu, Shyam Sahu, Shrawan Sao, Kamlesh Sao, Bhuvneshwar Sao, Sambhu Prasad, Ram Gopal Jaiswal and Sambhu Sao played a vital role.
