Jamshedpur, July 18: A spiritually charged evening awaits devotees of Lord Shiva as Shri Neelkanth Mahadev Sangh gears up to host a grand Bhajan Sandhya and Maha Bhandara on the second Monday of Sawan, July 21, at Agrico’s Transport Ground. The ninth edition of this annual devotional gathering is expected to draw more than 35,000 devotees.
The highlight of the evening will be soul-stirring performances by renowned Mumbai-based Bhajan singer Ritesh Pandey and Bihar’s popular devotional artist Siddhi Pathak. Their renditions are expected to create a divine atmosphere of spiritual connection and bliss.

At a press conference on Friday, Pankaj Kumar, President of Shri Neelkanth Mahadev Sangh, said, “This event is not just a cultural celebration but a spiritual journey that brings people closer to Shiva Bhakti.” Secretary Arvind Kumar added that a massive Maha Bhandara will also be held, with prasad distribution for thousands.
To ensure a smooth experience, the organizers have made elaborate arrangements, including a huge waterproof pandal with separate seating for men and women. No entry passes are required; seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
A special attraction this year will be a 22-foot-tall idol of Baba Barfani and a grand sculpture of Lord Shiva’s arms holding a damru, enhancing the spiritual ambiance. Adequate parking facilities have also been arranged.
Prominent personalities from the city have been invited to attend. The organizing team, comprising over two dozen active members, is working tirelessly to make the event a success. The Sangh has appealed to all Shiva devotees to participate and seek divine blessings.
