Jamshedpur: Jharkhand land revenue minister Amar Kumar Bauri today conducted a door-to-door campaign in Dalit localities at Bhuinadih Kalindi Basti, Bauri Basti, Bhuinya Basti, Birsanagar�s Das Para and other basti areas of Zone 8 as well as in Dhatkidih Harijan Basti.
Bauri commenced his campaign by garlanding the statues of Sidho-Kanhu at Patelnagar in Bhuinadih. The minister claimed that with the Modi wave sweeping across the nation, the BJP would register a historic win in the elections for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat. He visited all Dalit homes in the localities and urged women and the youth to vote for the party�s candidate Bidyut Baran Mahto. He sought the blessings of the community elders so that the BJP candidate for the Jamshedpur LS seat could register a historic win.
Speaking to the media, Amar Kumar Bauri dubbed the Opposition Grand alliance as an adulterated bag out to swindle the people. While claiming that BJP candidate for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat Bidyut Baran Mahto would record a historic win in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he stated, �The forthcoming LS elections is between the people of the country and the Grand Alliance. The BJP has ensured houses to the poor, provided cooking gas connections to households, constructed toilets, made available rice at Re 1 per kilo and seen to free treatment of the poor under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. For this the party never considered the caste or religion of the patients.�
Party officials who accompanied the minister in his padyatra during the campaign included BJP state president Dinesh Kumar, Sanjiv Singh, Pawan Agrawal, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Gunjan Yadav, Rajpati Devi, Vimal Baitha, Ankit Anand, Ramesh Nag, Shriram Prasad, Ajit Kalindi, Rubal Bhuinya, Suranjan Roy, Parwati Mukhi, Kamlesh Mukhi and others.
