Jamshedpur: The Basanti Puja Mahotsav commenced from 7 am today at Shri Sainath Devsthanam Mandir under the aegis of Sai Parivar Vishwa Seva Sansthan.
The proceedings commenced with the worship of Gauri-Ganesh. The rituals were conducted by Panditacharya Nandlal Mishra and Pandit Sujit Kumar Pathak. The hosts for the rituals were C Uday Bhaskar and his wife.
The kalash (pot) was also worshipped and Shailputri Aradhana and Chandi Path performed. The proceedings concluded with devotees offering flower petals at the feet of mother Sherawali. The evening Arati was performed before a large number of devotes.
Tomorrow, April 7, the Aradhana of Mother Brahmcharini will commence from 6 am. Today�s Kalash Sthapna saw active participation of the organization and other devotees. Ma Durga�s idol will be brought to the temple on April 11 for the Basanti Durga Puja Utsav.
