Baharagora: A 10 year old boy Shahid Sardar came in contact with a broken livewire in a field and received serious burn wounds. Shahid is the son of Ranjit Sardar of Jamdol village in Malkundi Panchayat under Chakulia Block. Shahid was rushed to CHC health centre where the Doctor-in-Charge Suresh Chandra Mahto after administering primary treatment referred him to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur for better treatment.

Shahid�s .father Ranjit Sardar stated that the child, while playing, reached the field where he came in contact with the live electric wire and received burn injuries. .on hearing about the accident, people from nearby came to rescue the child. They said that the wire had broken yesterday and the matter was reported to the electricity department officials and workers. Their lackadaisical attitude was responsible for this major mishap.
