Banna inspects Neel Sarovar, directs change rooms at ghats, posting of divers

Jamshedpur, Nov 5: Health Minister Banna Gupta along with JNAC Special Officer and others inspected Neel Sarovar in Ulliyan at Kadma and checked details of preparations made for devotees who will offer prayers (Argha) to the Sun on Wednesday, November 10 evening and on Thursday, November 11 (Udaychalgami Argha). It may be mentioned that health Minister Banna Gupta and his family offer Chhath prayers at Neel Sarovar. Many devotees offer their Chhath prayers at the Neel Sarovar Ghats.

Banna Gupta gave clear instructions to officials that all proper arrangements should be put in place including change rooms for women devotees and posting of divers to prevent any incident of drowning. He directed that these arrangements were to be ensured along all river and pond banks where devotees offer their Chhath prayers.
