Banna and Saryu inspect Chhath Ghats in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov 7: Various Chhath Ghats were inspected under Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) command areas by Health Minister also the West Jamshedpur Assembly constituency MLA Banna Gupta and his East counterpart, MLA Saryu Roy. Health Minister Banna Gupta while inspecting Swarnrekha Gandhi Ghat and Domohani Ghat, instructed officials at the spot to put ujp barricades for danger zones, install change rooms for women devotees, provide PA systems for importrant announcements and ensure sufficient provisions for sanitizers and masks. He also instructed JNAC staff members and officials to station ample number of divers at every Ghat to prevent drowning mishaps. The JNAC Special Officer assured the Minister that the instructions would be carried out. Minister Banna Gupta inspected the Ghats between 1 pm and 2 pm.

MLA Saryu Roy inspected the Chhath Ghats in his Jamshedpur East constituency between 3 pm and 5:30 pm. He inspected Chhath Ghats at Bagunhatu as also Bihari Ghat, Bhojpur Chhath Ghat among others and gave instructions for leveling of roads leading to the Ghats, marking of danger zones around deep water areas, proper lighting arrangements for the convenience of devotees. he directed that his instructions be complied within proper time frame.
