Jamshedpur BDO, CO express satisfaction over cleanliness of Chhath Ghats

Jamshedpur, Nov 7: On Sunday, Jamshedpur Block Development Officer (BDO) Praveen Kumar and Circle Officer (CO) Amit Kumar Srivastav along with Zila Parishad Vice President Rajkumar Singh inspected Dhapu, Kargil and Bamangora ponds to ensure cleanliness at the Chhath Ghats at these water bodies where devotees will be offering prayers. They also noted roads leading to the Ghats, lighting arrangements. BDO Praveen Kumar and CO Amit Kumar Srivastav expressed their satisfaction with all the arrangements made at the various Ghats for Chhath devotees. they also inspected the artificial water bodies set up by Rajkumar Singh and gave necessary suggestions. The officials also assured of total support and cooperation at block and district levels in the matter of readying of the Chhath Ghats.

Both officers also witnessed the work of filling water in artificial ponds constructed by Rajkumar Singh and gave necessary suggestions. Biswajit Bhagat, Hemant Khalkho, Shiv Hansda, Dhan Kumar, Birju Patro, Narendra Kumar, Mahendra Yadav, Manoj Singh, Tilka Patro, pond owner Lily Hembram, Anup Sinha and others were present during the inspection.

 Two artificial ponds were constructed by Rajkumar Singh on Sunday for the convenience of Chhath devotees by installing GCB at Gokuldham Club in Sopodera and New Shiv Mandir, Sharma Toli.

Vimal Pal, Rahul Kumar, Pintu Gupta and others helped in installation of these artificial water bodies.
