Bank of Baroda Jamshedpur hosts torn note exchange camp

Jamshedpur: The Bank of Baroda’s main branch in Bistupur organized a special camp in Bistupur Market to facilitate the exchange of old, torn, and damaged currency notes. A large number of traders and local residents participated in the initiative, queuing up to exchange their old notes for new ones.

Providing details about the initiative, Pushpendra Kumar, Senior Manager of Bank of Baroda, Bistupur, stated that the camp was conducted in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines to assist people in exchanging their unfit currency. He emphasized that such efforts aim to ease transactions for businesses and the general public.

During the event, Tarun Kumar Dutta also played an active role in ensuring the smooth execution of the note exchange process. The initiative was well-received, with many appreciating the bank’s proactive approach in addressing this common concern.
