Jamshedpur, Jan 10: Taking a proactive approach towards the well-being of its workforce, Bank of Baroda has expanded its “Employee Assistance Programme” in collaboration with Truworth Wellness. This initiative is geared towards addressing emotional and mental health needs for the bank’s 75,000+ employees and their families.
With a focus on fostering a positive work environment, the revamped Employee Assistance Programme offers confidential and personalized counselling services for individuals facing issues like anxiety, stress, depression, and loneliness. Employees, along with their spouses and children, can benefit from free counselling sessions conducted by professional experts either face-to-face via video or through a 24×7 toll-free helpline.
Emphasizing accessibility, the programme ensures round-the-clock support through a 24/7 helpline and virtual assistance. Additionally, a specially designed “Wellness Corner” mobile app has been introduced to provide digital support, featuring mental health assessments, mood trackers, AI-based virtual therapy sessions, and wellness programs. The app also includes online chat options and access to live and pre-recorded webinars.
Furthermore, augmented tools such as personal wellness dashboards, health trackers, and discounts on health services aim to promote healthy habits and goals tracking. This holistic approach signifies Bank of Baroda’s commitment to prioritizing the emotional and mental well-being of its employees.
In response to the launch of the enhanced Employee Assistance Programme, a spokesperson from Bank of Baroda stated, “We are dedicated to supporting the holistic wellness of our employees and their families.
