Jamshedpur : Congress Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu was nominated as the chairman of Jharkhand Sports Council of the Deaf (JSCD).
He replaced Bailey Bodhanwala who resigned as the JSCD chairman on health grounds. Balmuchu’s name was proposed and accepted by the members during the annual general meeting of the JSCD held at the conference hall of the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
The other office bearers elected during the meeting include Samiran Lal (president, Seraikela-Kharsawan), Santosh Kumar Singh (secretary, East Singhbhum) and Abhimanyu N Deo (treasurer, Giridih). Satnam Singh (East Singhbhum) was re-nominated as the� working president.
The meeting was held in the presence of� All India Sports Council of the Deaf� observers Asit Mishra, Akthar Ali and Prabal Chaterjee.
