Jamshedpur: The residents of Bagbera and Kitadih observed fast for one day before Drinking Water and Sanitation Department office at Adityapur on Saturday to demand completion of tender issuance process for the Bagbera-Kitadih Rural Water Supply Project.
They handed over a memorandum addressed to the Secretary of the department to the executive engineer and demanded that the process of issuance of tender stopped during elections due to declaration of Model Code of Conduct should now be completed. They said the water crisis had deepened in the area recently.
