Seraikela, Feb 19: Seraikela-Kharsawan police recovered a minor girl allegedly kidnapped by one Bablu Ansari from Sini here on Sunday. The recovery was made within 24 hours of the kidnapping, said Alok Ranjan Choudhary, officer-in-charge of Sini OP.

According to Choudhary, the minor’s mother had lodged a complaint with the Sini OP and sought police help in tracing her missing daughter. A police team was set up on the directive of the Superintendent of Police (SP). With the help of the technical cell, police arrested the accused from Hensal area of Rajnagar. The minor was handed over to her parents. The accused had kept the minor at a rented flat. He has been forwarded to judicial custody.
