Jamshedpur: The Andhra Committee East Zone Telco organised a one-day group rangoli competition, drawing enthusiastic participation from women across the city. A total of 53 women from different parts of Jamshedpur took part in the annual event, showcasing their creativity through vibrant and intricate rangoli designs.
The rangolis were created using coloured powder, lime, gulal and coloured vermicelli. Participants presented a variety of themes featuring detailed patterns and attractive mandalas, which were widely admired by visitors and committee members.
B. Sunita won first place, followed by V. Lata in second position. Silla Leelavathi and Lakshmi Bhavani jointly secured third place, while Lalitha Bhavani and Mahima stood fourth and fifth respectively.
The competition was judged by G. Sangeetha and V. Lata Murthy, who also presented gifts to the winners. Members of the Andhra Committee East Zone Telco were present throughout the programme.
