B.Ed students organize dharna for scholarship at DC office

Jamshedpur: Members of All India Democratic Students Organization (AIDSO) put up a demonstration before the office of the deputy commissioner, East Singhbhum, on Tuesday to demand scholarships for B.Ed students.

Leading a delegation of students, Yudhisthir Mahato and Asha Rani Pal said the B.Ed students were finding it difficult to get scholarship from the university. The students said they were asked to complain through Jharkhand Samvad on its web portal, adding that the portal was not working. They said they will be forced to take to the streets in case their demands were not fulfilled soon.

Among others present on the occasion included Purnima Tudu, Doman Mahato, Satya Ranjan, Sushil Sharma, Shweta, Babita Mahato, Urmila and Devashish.
