Attending divine Lord Krishna-Rukmini wedding resolves marital issues: Dr Thakur at Bhagwat Katha

Jamshedpur, July 23: On the sixth day of the Srimad Bhagwat Katha at Rajasthan Shiv Mandir in Jugsalai, the main highlights were the portrayal of the grand Maha Raas Leela, Lord Krishna’s journey to Mathura, the dialogue between Uddhav and the Gopis and the auspicious celestial wedding of Lord Shri Krishna and Ma Rukmini. The enchanting depiction of Lord Shri Krishna and Ma Rukmini’s wedding procession filled everyone with divine joy.

During the narration, the devotees danced ecstatically to the melodious hymns and bhajans while witnessing the divine wedding proceedings accompanied by incessant shower of flowers during the Varmala ceremony. Dr Sanjeev Krishna Thakur, a devout cow worshipper, presented a musical and emotionally charged rendition of the events surrounding Ma Rukmini’s wedding. He emphasized the significance of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, stating, “Those devotees who participate in the celebration of the divine wedding of Lord Krishna and Rukmini have their marital issues resolved forever.”

The seventh day of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha being organized by the Garhwal family ( originally from Thoi, Rajasthan) in the presence of Katha Vachak Dr Sanjeev Krishna Thakur from Sridham Vrindavan, will conclude with a peaceful resting period after the completion of the Havan and offering of Purnahuti on Monday, July 24. On Monday morning, the narrative will revolve around the character of Lord Shri Sudama and the worship of Sage Vyasa. During the Katha, the divine wedding of Lord Shri Krishna and Ma Rukmini was celebrated and hundreds of men and women devotees including Pushpa, Vimla, Rita, Mamata, Rete, Vineeta, Bindiya, Sunita, Neha, Priya, Trivankal, Tisha, Mauli, Manya, Bhoomi, Rohit, Mohit, Krishna, Radhav, Kartik, Vaibhav, Atharv, Himanshu, Hardik, Annu and many others were immersed in the sea of divine glory.
