Jamshedpur: Atiuttam Shakti Pariwar (ASP) will organize a 13 day Chaiti Navratra religious festival between April 5 and 17 at the Mother�s Temple at Harharguttu TRF Colony. Incidentally, April 5 is the Hindu New Year and the ASP will celebrate the occasion with the devotees at the temple.
The 13 day ceremony will commence with the establishment of the holy kalash (pot) and the Mother�s Shakti (power) worship on April 5. Founder Uttam Paramhans informed that two unique features of the worship would be offering of 13 different types of flowers on the 13 days of the worship and also 13 types of different food offerings to the Mother on each of the days of worship.
He said, �Upto April 14, one form of the nine forms of the Mother will be worshipped each day. From April 15 to 17, the Mother in the form of daughter, Atiuttameshwari, will be performed. On April 17, the final day of the 13 day event, a special Havan worship will be performed for world peace.�
Devotees from Bagbera, Harharguttu, Karandih, Parsudih, Raiway Colony along with those from other parts of Jharkhand, Odisha and Bengal are expected to attend the Navratra celebrations.
The organizing committee comprises Uttam Kumar, Kaushalya Devi, Radha Munni Dadi, Nirmala Devi, Rustam Kumar, Divyanshu, Kullu and others.
