Jamshedpur, Feb 13: Armed assailants opened fire on one Pradip Singh, an Arms Act case accused, in Sitaramdera here on Monday evening. The victim sustained multiple gun shot injuries and was taken to Tata Main Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Sources said the culprits opened indiscriminate fire on the victim, a resident of Gurudwara Road, Mango. The bullets ripped through victim’s head, face and limbs, sources said.

Sources said Pradip Singh was absconding in a case of recovery of arms from his possessoin in Mango. Police were reportedly searching for him.

Cops said an investigation into the incident was on. They said it could be an incident of gang rivalry or enmity.
