Jamshedpur: Armed miscreants looted cash worth Rs 10,000 from one Mohammad Shahid of Gausnagar, Kapali, in Chandinagar locality under Sitaramdera police station area.
They also injured the victim by hitting him with a brick. The victim was taken to MGM Hospital. Police registered a case against unidentified persons on the victim�s complaint.
Shahid told police he had gone to a liquor shop for a drink after getting Rs 10000 in lieu of a painting work he had done in a garage. Police said they were searching for the accused persons.
