Jamshedpur, Jan 1: Union tribal affairs minister and Khunti MP, Arjun Munda today clarified that there is no need for any apprehension on the new farm laws of the Central government.
Addressing media after paying homage to martyrs at the Shahid Sthal in Kharsawan in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, Arjun Munda said, “A certain section are trying to spread rumours about Farm laws that farmers land would be snatched. There is no truth in it. There had been discussion on the bill in earlier government too, but the BJP-led central government has finally made into a law for the benefit of farmers.”
Informing that during his tenure as chief minister of Jharkhand, several projects and hostels had been built in Kharsawan area for the tribals and now as he was looking after tribal affairs ministry the focus on creation of employment and soon steps would be taken to boost Tasar silk industry in the region.
