Jamshedpur, Jan 1: A Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) jawan identified as Chandra Kumar Singh deputed as a SI in the Gudabandha thana in Ghatshila sub-division died on Friday morning during course of treatment at the Ghatshila sub-divisional hospital.
Ghatshila SDPO R. K Mehta after getting information reached the hospital to took information. According to Gudabandha thana OC, Prabhat Kumar said that Chandra Kumar Singh had taken dinner and gone to sleep and in the night his condition deteriorated all of a sudden and was rushed to Ghatshila sub-divisional hospital on Thursday itself where he died on Friday morning. The body was sent to MGM Medical College for post mortem which will be conducted under a medical board to ascertain real cause of the death of the cop.
