Jamshedpur: Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda visited several villages in Potka Assembly constituency on Thursday to seek votes for NDA candidate Bidyut Baran Mahato. He was accompanied by a large number of party leaders and supporters.
Addressing a gathering of villagers, Munda said Narendra Modi was the sole candidate in the country suitable for the post of Prime Minister. The Modi government has provided a slew of facilities to poor people in a bid to empower them, he said.
Munda said the government had started many schemes to ensure basic civic amenities for the poor people of the country. From health and education to development and national security, the government has done a lot for the citizens of India, he said.
Potka MLA Menka Sardar and Zila Parishad chairperson Bulurani Singh Sardar were also present during the campaign along with Lakhi Kundi, Vinod Singh, Kali Sharma, Amar Singh, Hopan Mahali and Pintu Sarangi.
