Jamshedpur, March 20: The APR Nair Sports Literacy Seminar, originally scheduled for March 24 in Mango, has been rescheduled to April 7 due to ongoing school examinations. The decision was taken by the organizers to ensure maximum participation.
Dr. Afroz Shakeel, head of Aman Welfare Society, confirmed the change, stating that Jamshedpur FC’s head coach Khalid Jameel, who was invited as a guest, is currently engaged in ISL playoff preparations, making the rescheduling necessary.
The seminar aims to promote sports literacy and honor the vision of late educationist APR Nair. As part of the event, five emerging players from Jamshedpur will be felicitated for their achievements in sports.
Organizers have urged sports enthusiasts and students to participate in this educational initiative, which will focus on the importance of sports in academics and overall development.
