Jamshedpur, May 19: In adherence to the directives of the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, a road safety meeting was held under the jurisdiction of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee. As part of the meeting’s resolutions, encroachments on road sides were targeted for removal. Following the Special Officer’s instructions, the flying squad initiated actions in various areas such as Sakchi, Kadma, Bistupur and Baridih. During the encroachment removal process on Straight Mile Road and the surrounding areas, a total of 29 individuals were fined, resulting in a collection of Rs 43,800. The flying squad, led by the city manager, included regional revenue workers Prakash Bhagat, Binod Tiwari, Krishna Ram, and Ganesh Ram.
