Special Officer inspects progress of PMAY in Birsanagar

Jamshedpur, May 19: The affordable housing project in Birsanagar, Jamshedpur, under component-3 of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) witnessed a site inspection by Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee’s Special Officer, Sanjay Kumar. The project aims to construct a total of 9,592 houses, of which construction work has commenced for 7,372 houses. During the inspection, the physical progress of the construction site was assessed, and discussions were held with the key stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the scheme. Special Officer Sanjay Kumar directed the working contractors and supervisors to accelerate the construction work and maintain quality standards. The timely completion of the project and the prompt collection of installments from beneficiaries were emphasized. Additionally, all individuals involved in the project were instructed to prioritize safety standards during construction. Notable attendees during the inspection included Rahul Kumar, the nodal officer of the housing scheme, Town Planner Deepak Majhi, Judco’s DGM Santosh Choubey, PM Dhananjay Kumar, and other officials.
