Jamshedpur, Jan 5: The incidents of crime in steel city is just not taking a break as in the last one month, the city has witnessed over a dozen incidents of shooting, including on prominent doctors. The nightmare for the residents of Jamshedpur is far from over.
In yet another incident of firing, gunmen shot at and severely injured a man in Sonari on Sunday at around 9:30 pm. While police today recovered a dead body of a man crushed with stones from near Pahari Tola farm in New Barigoda under Parsudih Police Station.
In shooting incident, Rakesh Dubey aged around 24 years, was at shop near his house in Marar Para under Sonari Police Station buying eggs when a gunman identified as Gange fired bullet at Rakesh which stuck his neck at ran away from the scene.
Soon the locals informed his family and took him to Tata Main Hospital where his condition remained critical. SSP Amol V Homkar, SP Karthik S. and other police officials reached the spot and have started the investigation. According to sources the incident occurred due to some old revenge between the two.
Till the news reached the press no one was arrested and Rakesh remained critical.
Mini bus driver’s murder suspected, dead body found In another incident police today recovered a dead body of a man crushed with stones from near Pahari Tola farm in New Barigoda under Parsudih Police Station.
The deceased identified as Shintu Ojha resident of Kitadih was absconding from his home from the last 3-4 days. As he regularly lived away from home his parents didn�t worried a lot but after 4 days his family members started searching for Shintu, a mini bus driver by profession.
Police after searching his body referred it to MGM where post mortem took place and after which Shintu�s body was handed over to his family. Meanwhile, Police is investigating the matter and till the news reached the press no one was arrested.
