Jamshedpur, Feb 23: Kerala Public School, Kadma organized a Gratitude Day programme for the outgoing students of Std V (Batch 2025–26) on Monday.
The programme began with a motivating speech by the Headmistress, who encouraged students to prepare themselves academically, mentally, physically and emotionally for the challenges ahead. An oath-taking ceremony was conducted, where students pledged to uphold values such as integrity, loyalty, commitment, care and concern for others.
The Principal and Headmistress advised the students to be responsible, compassionate and empathetic while serving society. The school choir presented melodious songs celebrating joy and togetherness. The School Director delivered an inspiring message, urging students to face middle school with confidence and curiosity.
Students of Class V shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for their teachers, friendships and learning journey. Shanta Ma’am motivated them to step forward with confidence, while Manorama Ma’am recited a shloka from the Bhagavad Gita and highlighted the importance of values and inner strength. The School President also shared heartfelt words of appreciation.
Around 188 students received gratitude cards. A selfie corner was set up to capture memories. Nilesh Paul (5D) and Vidya Kumari (5C) were named Best Head Boy and Girl, while Anjali Kumari (5C) received the Best Councilor and Best School President awards.
