Jamshedpur: Literary and cultural organization Anandam and Farm Area New Sarbojanin Durga Puja Committee jointly organized Rabindra-Nazrul Sandhya at New Community Bhawan in Farm Area, Kadma. The guests included 16 elderly residents of Ashirwad Briddhashram. Educationist Dr Baidyanath Tripathy presented his observations on the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.
Among the participants, four year old Sudipto Bhattacharya won the hearts of the audience with his recitation of Rabindranath�s poem. Others who recited poems from the creations of the immortal poets were Krishna Gopal Sengupta, Sadashib Roy, Probir Dey, Subroto Ghosh, Chaitali Sathpathy and Bimal Chakraborty.
The program was anchored by Kalpana Bhattacharjee who also offered the vote of thanks. The organizers� team comprised Dilip Bhattacharjee, Runu Mohanty, Pintu Ghoshal, Bappa Ghosh, Bapi Chatterjee and Partho Chatterjee.
