Jamshedpur, Nov 18: A meeting of the Poddar Vaishya Kalyan Samiti (PVKM) was convened today at Chaibasa presided by its Kolhan Region chief Arun Poddar.The meeting discussed the state of the Samiti and the route to be adopted for the expansion of the Poddar community organization.
It was also unanimously decided that the responsibility of forming a unit of the Poddar community in Chaibasa and the responsibility for the purpose was given to Amit Kumar Poddar and Lalit Poddar as convener and co-convener respectively and were asked to form a complete committee by the month of December next.
It was also announced that during a picnic and family get-together to be organized by PVKM the Poddar community members from Chaibasa would be invited.
The Samiti meet was also attended by Shrikant Dev, Suresh Poddar, Ramanuj Poddar, Rajiv Ranjan Poddar, Dr Tej Narayan Poddar, Gajanand Poddar and Satya Prakash Poddar.
