Jamshedpur, Sept 16: Every individual should plant saplings in life. This generates greenery and provides clean air which is good for health. This was observed by Anoop Birtharay, senior superintendent of police, East Singhbhum, during a plantation programme at Parsudih police station on Sunday. The programme was jointly organized by Parsudih police, Mitra Healthy Humanity, a city-based social organization.
Many medicinal saplings were also planted on this occasion. Animesh Gupta, officer in-charge of Parsudih PS, said a heap of scrap was removed to pave way for the plants.
Others present during the event included SP City Subhash Chandra Jaat, DSP Alok Ranjan, Zila Parishad president Bulurani Singh, vice president Rajkumar Singh, Sandeep Sharma and Soni Pathak.
