Kalakarshana puja performed at Dharma Saastha Temple

Jamshedpur, Sept. 15: Kalakarshana puja for Raja Gopuram was performed at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple in Bistupur on Sunday morning. As part of this, the pujas commenced with a havan for Lord Ganesh, followed by Vastu Shanti havan puja and havan for Navgrahas. Earlier a sacred thread was tied to Raja Gopuram as part of Kalakarshana puja.  All the pujas and havan was performed by a Ved Pandit Umamaheshwar of New Delhi who came especially to perform the pujas.  State food and civil supplies minister Saryu Roy, PN Sankaran, working President of the Temple was present on the occasion accompanied by K S Jayaraman, Secretary and A S Visweswaran, Treasurer. After Maha Arti, Prasad was distributed to devotees who were present in large number.
