Jamshedpur: The district unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha (ABTSM) continued its membership drive in connection with the forthcoming community election. Today�s drive was carried out at Birsanagar, Sopodera, Kitadih, Jugsalai Bora Patti, Bagbera and Shantinagar in Bhuinadih.
Candidates for the post of president Rakesh Sahu, general secretary Ranjit Gupta and treasurer Bhola Prasad jointly conducted the drive and enlisted many members, asking them to work for the community�s all round development.
The newly enrolled members took a pledge to make more members among the community in the district.
In a press release Rakesh Sahu informed that the membership drive would continue upto January 31. He said that there were chances that the ABTSM district election would be held in the second week of February.
Dilip Sah, Jaishankar Sah, Rahul Sah, Ramesh Sah, Pramod Sah, Suraj Prasad, Surya Narayan Sah and Amarjit Kumar Sah also participated in the membership drive.
