Jamshedpur: The Akhil Bharatiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha (ABTSM) continued its membership drive today at the Jubilee Park gate. The closing date for the membership drive is January 31. The date and place of the ABTSM district body election will be decided in the first week of February and there is a strong chance of it being held in the following week.
The membership drive is being headed by candidates for the top posts of the district unit of ABTSM. The candidates include Rakesh Sahu (president), Ranjit Gupta (general secretary) and Bhola Prasad (treasurer). They along with Nand Kishore Sah, Umesh Sah and their team, in the course of their drive, enrolled quite a number of members and exhorted them to participate in their community�s development activities.
They were also asked to participate in the organization�s district body elections. ABTSM district presidential candidate Rakesh Sahu said the organization�s purpose was to make the community�s social, political and economic status stronger.
