Jamshedpur, Dec 20: Akaash House emerged as the overall champions at JUSCO School Kadma’s 18th Annual Sports Day, held in the school premises on December 20. The event was marked by vibrant displays of athleticism, teamwork, and cultural performances, showcasing the students’ talent and enthusiasm.
A.F. Madon, Administrator of JEM Foundation, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour, while Rishabh Garg, SP (Rural), Jamshedpur, was the Chief Guest. The event began with a spirited March Past by students of Jal House, Akaash House, Agni House, Prithvi House, and Vayu House, with Jal House bagging the award for Best March Past.

The highlights of the day included the Olympic Drill and the Dragon Drill, which captivated the audience. Yoga and Taekwondo demonstrations further showcased the students’ diverse skills and discipline.
The winners of the sporting events were felicitated by A.F. Madon and the school’s Principal, Jhumjhumi Nandi. P. Yogesh and Srishti Kumari were awarded the title of ‘Best Athlete,’ while Shivam Dey and Kritika Kumari received the same honor in the senior category.
In the final tally, Akaash House secured the top spot as overall champions, followed by Prithvi House as the first runners-up and Agni House as the second runners-up.
Principal Jhumjhumi Nandi, Vice Principal Anindita Roy, and coordinators Qamar Ali and Seema Tiwary extended their congratulations to the winners. The event concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving the school abuzz with enthusiasm and pride.
