AJSU’s Halla Bol demonstration at Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee Office

Jamshedpur, June 28: On Friday, the AJSU Party organized a Halla Bol demonstration at the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) office and presented a 12-point charter of demands to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner seeking immediate resolutions.

The main demands outlined in the memorandum included immediate execution of land-related mutation applications submitted to the office and resolution of the zero plot issue registered in register-2; transparency in the selection process for Abua Housing to ensure that needy and poor families receive the proper benefits; resolution of drinking water issues in the Jamshedpur Notified Area; acceleration in the issuance of caste, income, and residential certificates for scholarships to ensure that students from poor families were not deprived of financial aid; cessation of illegal vehicle parking on the main road in front of PJ PM Mall to prevent traffic jams; ensuring 24-hour power supply in the Basti area, considering the current heatwave; ensuring the presence of all office employees as per government rules to facilitate villagers’ work; giving priority to Jharkhand agitators and their family dependents in government schemes; regular payment to all pensioners; timely provision of ration to all ration card holders and eliminating ration cuts; repairing all defunct hand pumps as soon as possible; taking action against houses built in the city by violating maps.

AJSU District President Kanhaiya Singh stated that the government’s policies and principles were not in public interest, and their election promises had proved hollow, cheating women and youth. He also highlighted that the people had been deprived of basic facilities like education and health.

Prominent participants in the demonstration included Munna Singh, Appu Tiwari, Chandrashwar Pandey, Hemant Pathak, Dhanesh Karmakar, Devashish Chaudhary, Rajesh Chaudhary, Santosh Singh, Vimal Maurya, Rajendra Sonkar, Uma Shankar Singh, Laxman Bagh, Sonu Singh, Chandan Singh, Abhay Singh, Rahul Prasad, and Praveen Prasad.
