AJSU protests against poor inter results, demands teaching methodology

Jamshedpur: A delegation of AJSU today submitted a memorandum to state HRD minister Neera Yadav through the East Singhbhum deputy commissioner’s office demanding steps to be taken to improve education in the State . A group of about 20 representatives from Ajsu met the additional deputy commissioner Saurav Kumar Sinha and handed him the memorandum.

“The intermediate results in the State have been shocking. Concerned over the situation we have requested to promote students who have failed with a five mark difference or below. Many students lose out on jobs because of this,” complained Kolhan president of Ajsu, Hemant Pathak.

They have also demanded strict action on teachers of subjects with maximum number of failures and have also suggested changes in the existing syllabus.

The activists said that the idea should be to regularise classes so that the students and faculty members can devote more time on studies. He said that in compare to arts and commerce stream, the performance in the science stream has been dull.
