Jamshedpur, Oct 24: Former minister and Central General Secretary of the AJSU Party, Ramchandra Sahis, has officially filed his nomination as the NDA candidate for the Jugsalai assembly seat. On the morning of the nomination, Sahis began his day with a visit to his ancestral home in Munchudih, where he sought blessings from his ancestors. Following this, he performed rituals at the Hathi Ghoda temple before embarking on a procession to the Deputy Commissioner’s office, stopping at the Bodhi temple along the way.

AJSU Party’s District President and Jugsalai Assembly Election In-charge, Kanhaiya Singh, expressed confidence in Sahis’s candidacy, stating, “The party which breaks its promise with the public will face consequences. The current MLA’s deeds are known to the public, and on November 13, we will create a new history by electing Ramchandra Sahis, who will work with the public’s sentiments.”

In his address during the nomination event, Sahis underscored the call of the Jharkhand populace for a new NDA government, asserting, “Our resolution is to establish the Jugsalai Assembly as a model assembly like Silli and to ensure development across all Panchayats. I will connect with the public through several key promises.”

Among his commitments, Sahis highlighted plans for doorstep garbage collection and proper disposal, organizing monthly free health check-up camps in Panchayat Bhawans, and establishing a permanent Haat Bazaar for rural shopkeepers. He also pledged to improve infrastructure, including street lighting on Ghorabandha main road and the early construction of the main road connecting Gwaladera to Govindpur.

Sahis emphasized women and youth empowerment through skill development programs and small-scale industrial plants in every Panchayat. He aims to enhance health services with regular treatments by qualified doctors at the Primary Health Center and promote the conservation of religious heritage sites in the Jugsalai Assembly constituency. Additional promises include the construction of a grand marriage hall, free ambulance services, and ensuring smooth ration distribution from PDS stores.

To address educational needs, he committed to providing free education under the RTE for underprivileged children and enhancing the beautification of public ponds and reservoirs. Furthermore, he expressed intentions to establish Pragya Kendras in AJSU and BJP offices to facilitate access to government schemes.

“Chaupal will be held at every square for the people of Jharkhand, especially in the Jugsalai Assembly constituency, to address public issues and needs,” Sahis concluded, reaffirming his dedication to the development of the region.
