Jamshedpur: A district level agriculture exhibition was organized at Patamada block office on Tuesday. It was held with the view to motivate farmers. Several stalls were put up by ATMA, Krishi Utpadan Bazar Samiti, Animal Husbandry and other state government departments.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, Zila Parishad president Bulu Rani Singh, Zila Parishad member from Patamada Champa Murmu and local government officials were present during the event.
A wide range of agricultural products were put on display at the exhibition. Farmers too, participated in the exhibition by displaying agricultural produce. They were awarded on this occasion.
Land conservation department distributed pump sets among the farmers. A VVPAT machine was also displayed during the exhibition and the people participated in a mock poll.
