Jamshedpur, May 31: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has initiated the counselling process for admissions into BE and BTech courses across engineering institutes within the state. Candidates are invited to apply for admission until the 24th of June, with a window for application corrections open from June 25th to June 27th. The state merit list, based on JEE Main ranks, will be unveiled on July 2nd.
Across various colleges in the state, a total of 5520 seats are available for aspiring engineers. BIT Sindri leads with 680 seats, followed by CIT Tatisilve Ranchi with 390 seats. Other notable institutions include Nilay Educational Trust Group of Institutions Ranchi (288 seats), RTC Institute of Technology Ranchi (240 seats), and Government Engineering College Palamu (300 seats).
University College of Engineering and Technology Hazaribagh offers 210 seats, while Dumka Engineering College and Chaibasa Engineering College provide 450 and 420 seats respectively. Ramgarh Engineering College boasts 480 seats, while Guru Govind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus Bokaro offers 360 seats.
In addition, BA College of Engineering and Technology Jamshedpur offers 157 seats, KK College of Engineering and Management Dhanbad provides 420 seats, and RVS College of Engineering and Technology Jamshedpur has 360 seats. DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology Palamu offers 180 seats, while Maryland Institute of Technology and Management Jamshedpur provides 225 seats. Lastly, Awadh Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology offers 60 seats.
