ADLS School spreads awareness on safe Deepawali

Jamshedpur, Oct 22: ADLS School October 22 as �Diyotsav� Festival of lights� in the school auditorium.

The objective behind the program was to spread awareness among the stakeholders of the school. The event partner Radio-Dhoom 104.8 FM, aired the program live from the school campus.

Being responsible citizens of society we wanted to spread awareness in the whole community. School and students were benefited by the program conducted but apart from self the whole community was focused to be the part of safety drive during diwali.

The program included dance, song and talk show by Dr. Saurav Srivastava, Department of surgery with special interest in Trauma and Burns, TMH. He spoke on the safety measures to be adopted while celebrating diwali. He guided how to keep ourselves away from fire accidents and burnt injuries which has become a common phenomenon during diwali. He also threw light on the first aid measures to be adopted if burn injuries occur.

Various competitions marked the day which included Diya making, Card making, Rangoli and Diwali ghar making

The nursery children made the Torans with waste materials. The movie on diwali was also staged for the children.

The Principal Mrs. Indrani Singh reaffirmed her commitments towards the society to make it safe and prosperous. She also wished every one a very happy, prosperous and safe diwali. The program successfully ended with the National Anthem.

The results for the several competition held during the day were also organized greeting card making competition, diya making, diwali ghar making and rangoli contest.
