Jadugora: A delegation led by Zila Parishad member Pratima Rani Mandal met state education secretary Aradhana Patnayak and deputy director of primary education in Ranchi and sought help to save the existence of Adivasi Girls High School situated in Gopalpur at Asanbani.
Mandal said the school had been running for the last 25 years with the help of grant from the government. She said the school was on the verge of closure in want of grant. She said it was the only school for tribal girls in the area.
Other delegation members included Rakhi Bhakta, Chiraranjan Bhakta, Gautam Bhakta, Karunamaya Mandal and Shankar.
