Jamshedpur, Sept 9: The East Singhbhum district administration is not sparing any effort to curb the spiraling COVID-19 infection graph. Potka Circle Officer Baleshwar Ram and Trainee Police Inspector Kundan Kumar along with a police force inspected Haldipokhar Bazaar and asked shopkeepers, customers and wayfarers to wear masks when leaving homes. They directed shopkeepers to sanitize their shop premises regularly, keep sanitizers for themselves and for their customers, not to oblige customers coming to their establishments without wearing masks, to ensure that not more than five customers be present at the shop counters, maintain social distance and for cloth shop owners, the CO directed that they keep thermal scanners in their establishments. The CO and trainee police inspector warned that people not wearing masks would face legal action as per provisions. Mukhiya Sunil Munda was present during the inspection.
