Jamshedpur : A group of students led by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged demonstration and created ruckus at University branch office in Graduate College.

The remarks from the officials at the branch office irked the students to create chaos at the office. The students then broke the chairs and window panes as a mark of protest.

State joint secretary Ravi Prasad Singh visited the university branch office at the premises of the Graduate School College for Women to protest against the poor results especially in arts and science in part I (2013-16)and part II (2012-15) announced recently.

Ravi Prasad Singh said that the idea to lodge complaint is that the organisation demands change in teaching pattern. The pass percentage of arts, science and vocational subjects for part I and II have been in between 30 per cent to 35 per cent, which compelled students to question the method that the Kolhan University adapts in evaluating answer sheets.

The ABVP student activists are now planningto intensify their agitation against the University.
