Ranchi, Nov. 25: Manish Kumar alias Gulla, a 14-year-old son of Dashrath Shaw of Vindhyawasini Nagar, who was missing since July 14, 2015, finally returned home on Wednesday. After being rescued, Gulla visited Jan Samvad Kendra (JSK) and discussed his plight.

He said he came in contact with some truck drivers with a view to learn driving, who took him ahead of Budhmu and left him there to work in a hotel. After he went missing, Gullas parents moved from office to office with their complaint. They even gave the names of the truck drivers to different officials.

Finally, they took up their complaint with the Chief Minister at the Jan Samvad Kendra. Following this, the Ratu police was consulted and a search operation was carried out. The truck drivers were pressurised and the boy was rescued.

The parents of the child have thanked the Chief Ministers Jan Samvad Kendra for its role in emancipating their child.
